Send your clients a welcome kit. And in it:
- congratulate them
- set expectations
- and repeat everything you told them on the onboarding call
If you have a book, or even a case study or something of authority, include it for credibility.
Bonus points if you can provide some sort of small, unique characteristic. Me? I use a wax stamp with our company logo on it to seal a 1,000 year old coin and tell a story about it that was passed on to me.
This one idea of a welcome kit makes them feel seen, excited to work with you, and paces your client so they know what’s next without having to ask you 100 questions, allowing you to better deliver without interruptions, and increase client retention.
