Why I don’t chase SEO leads

One thing I don’t do is chase leads. Period.

Proposal’s sent, and I full stop. They either sign or follow up with me, but I don’t follow up with them.

<insert sales guys crying> 😭

One way isn’t everyone’s way, just as my way may not be your way.

For me, clients are either ready, or they’re not.

If they’re not, then I’m happy to point them to resources or they can continue to follow my content to better see the opportunity.

But chasing a client is nearly always a gigantic waste.

  1. Forced sale clients are horrible clients
  2.  Uninformed clients are horrible clients

They will either be needy, drama, or impatient.

Why spend all that time on someone that leaves early, AND takes away valuable time and money from good leads and good clients?

When instead they could buy when it’s right to buy, which is usually just within a few weeks, and be an amazing client for life.

Force a sale in a few days for drama, or wait a few weeks for a life-time client with improved engagement and results?
